Joel Nedecky has always loved stories, yet most of his childhood was spent playing hockey. He fell in love with movies in high school, and then with fiction in university. His short fiction has been published with Shotgun Honey, Dark Waters, Hoosier Noir, Bristol Noir, Urban Pigs Press, Punk Noir, and more. Nedecky's first novel, The Broken Detective, will be published by Run Amok Crime in the fall of 2025.
